I have limited vocational and educational experience

If you have limited vocational experience and/or education, you can build on your experience and skills.

Start your pathway to work

Swedish language skills can improve your chances of finding a job, so it's a good idea to start a course in Swedish as soon as possible. If you need personal guidance on your pathway to work, you can turn to Arbetsförmedlingen for support.

Describe your skills

To ensure you get guidance on the right education and work during your pathway to work in Sweden, it is important that you show what you have done previously.

Educate yourself

Education to at least upper secondary school level is usually required to get a job in Sweden.

Finding a job

Arbetsförmedlingen has a database of job vacancies and analyses of the labour market and also arranges activities you can take part in while you are looking for work, such as seminars about how to write a job application or a CV or tips for job interviews.
