The municipal housing company
Jokkmokkshus offers pleasant flats both in Jokkmokk and in the smaller population centres Porjus and Vuollerim. There are also some private landlords who rent out houses. For those refugees who are part of the establishment reform, the municipal refugee coordinator helps to find housing. Ahead of reception, the housing is also furnished with basic equipment. You may keep this equipment if you continue living in the municipality for at least 2 years.
