Socialstyrelsen (National Board of Health and Welfare)

The National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) is a government agency that governs, guides, maintains statistics on and evaluates the social services, health and medical care and dental care. Socialstyrelsen issues regulations (which apply as laws), provides recommendations and compiles facts and knowledge for staff and managers in nursing and care.
