There are two indoor swimming pools, Vikenbadet in Furulund and Tolvåkerbadet in Löddeköpinge. In the summertime, it is possible to swim in the sea, at Barsebäck and other places. The tax authority and social insurance have offices in Lund.

Childcare

In Kävlinge municipality there are 15 municipal nursery schools och 4 nursery schools. The open nursery school is available in Kävlinge and Löddeköpinge.

Compulsory schools and upper secondary schools

There are 13 comprehensive schools in the municipality. The nearest upper secondary school is in Lund. The municipality also offers language introduction for young persons aged 16–20 years and first language teaching if at least one of the parents have a first language other than Swedish and the language is used at home on a daily basis.

In Kävlinge there is municipal adult education, komvux, at Lärcentrum. Here you can take part in SfI and various teaching programmes and courses. Public transport
