There are nursery schools and childcare centres for children aged 1–5 years and after-school clubs for children needing supervision before and after school when their parents are busy. There is also a youth leisure centre open in the evenings for open children.​

Nossebro has schools for children in years 1 to 9. The municipality has been much noticed for its successful school. Upper secondary pupils travel to Trollhättan, Vara or Vårgårda.

Adults can study Swedish for Immigrants, comprehensive level education for adults and upper secondary education for adults in Nossebro. You can use portable computers and various educational aids during lessons. There is a computer room where various computer courses are taught. You can also study certain courses at a distance.

Health and medical care

Nossebro has a medical centre, pharmacy, ante-natal clinic and dental clinic, staffed with doctors, nurses, midwives, etc. A home for the elderly is located next to the medical centre.

Interpreter assistance

A refugee secretary works at an introduction centre to help new arrivals to find their way around their new municipality. You can contact this for support and advice as necessary. As a new arrival, you will get help from us. The telephone number is 0512-571 66.
