There are a number of ways to buy tickets for public transport in Sweden, for example:

  • in the company’s app
  • on the company’s website
  • from ticket machines at stations
  • from the company’s customer service centre
  • in shops such as Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven or ICA.

You usually need to buy a ticket before boarding the bus, train, tram or metro.
