COVID-19 is spreading in Sweden and the world and causes Coronavirus disease. It is everyone’s shared responsibility to prevent the spread of the virus. Get vaccinated in order to be protected against severe illness.

Asylum applicants and people who are in Sweden without a permit can also get vaccinated.

Vaccination is free of charge, and you can get vaccinated even if you do not have an ID document, a personal identity number or a coordination number.

Stay at home if you are ill

Stay at home and avoid close contact with other people if you are ill with symptoms that could be COVID-19. Call 1177 if you need help in assessing your symptoms or advice about where to seek medical care.

Protect yourself by getting vaccinated

Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best way to avoid getting seriously ill.

Folkhälsomyndigheten, the Public Health Agency of Sweden, recommends that everyone from the age of 18 get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Getting vaccinated is free of charge.
