The Act on Electronic Communication entered into force on 25 July 2003. Under this act we have to inform the visitor:
- that the website contains cookies,
- what these cookies are used for, and
- how cookies can be avoided.
There are two types of cookies
A permanent cookie remains on your computer for a determined period of time. This is used e g for functions that tell you what has changed since you last visited the website. It can also be used to remember adaptations that you made to the website, such as what language you chose.
A session cookie is saved temporarily in your computer's memory while you are on a website. Session cookies are removed when you quit your web browser.
